We are thrilled to present our latest film Magnolia Moon for the very first time in front of a live audience at The Back Room at The Gutter! The film is already being accepted into film festivals internationally, but we just couldn't wait to share it with our friends and arts community.

Magnolia Moon, a film by Georgia Usborne & Julia Discenza based on the poetry / prose piece Little Gem Magnolia by Paul Rabinowitz, is an intimate reflection on the seasons of love through the eyes of two New Orleans artists caught in a complicated romance. Looking back on their time together, Ayva & Max must follow their hearts either towards each other or towards freedom. Brought to life with animation by Ariel E.Grubb, original score composed by Richard Sears with music contributions and sound design by Rowan Spencer, and featuring the music of Shrines, the film weaves movement, poetry and cinema.
